Saturday, October 27, 2007:  Dr. Jim Ingold, ornithologist at LSU-Shreveport, led the bird-banding activities.  Other participants and visitors included Tom Walker of Jefferson, Kathy O'Campo of Denton with daughters Natalie and Audrey, Mary Keasler of Jefferson, Marjorie Hoover of Seguin, Joann Hodges of Uncertain, and Nancy Hill of Grand Prairie with daughter Alexandria.  

 

Weather Conditions:  The morning low temperature was 41 F and the afternoon high was 64 F.  It was clear with a small breeze from the north.

Number of Nets:  Twelve (12)

 

Time:  We started putting up nets at 9:00 a.m. and all nets were closed by 4:45 p.m.
