Saturday, February 23, 2013:  Dr. Jim Ingold, ornithologist at LSU-Shreveport, led the bird-banding activities.  Other participants and visitors included Tom Walker of Jefferson; Robert Carter -- Marshall; Liz Hendrix -- Shreveport; Susan Clark -- Shreveport; Rhonda Hole -- Ft. Worth; Sandi Smith and her son, Chance -- Stanley, Louisiana; Sandra Hooker -- Marshall; Stephen Willis and his daughter, Devon  -- Marshall.
 

Weather Conditions:  The morning low temperature was 30º F and the afternoon high was 57º F.  The weather was clear and sunny with a little breeze from the north.


Number of Nets:  Twelve (12)

 

Time:  We started setting up nets at 9:00 a.m. and all nets were closed by 4:45 p.m.
